“Carl and his crew were phenomenal! Fast, respectful and would recommend to anyone that is moving!”
I’m Wes Kuhlman, and St. Joseph is where the metro gives way to open country. This is a farm town east of Urbana off US-150, and a good share of the moves my crew runs out here aren’t tidy subdivision jobs — they’re acreage properties with long gravel drives, detached shops full of tools, and outbuildings that a lot of movers won’t touch. We come prepared for exactly that.
A gravel drive after a wet stretch, or an approach that a 26-foot box truck can’t quite make, is normal for us. We’ll stage a smaller truck close and shuttle the rest, all mapped out before your move day so nothing gets improvised in the mud.
- Farmhouse and acreage moves with long gravel or unpaved drives
- Detached shops, barns, and outbuildings loaded alongside the house
- Rural east-side routing our crew knows down US-150 cold
Rural access doesn’t change your price. When a gravel drive or a short carry needs staging, we build it into the flat written rate up front instead of springing it on you once the truck’s out there.
St. Joseph moves book through our local moving crew, with full-pack service handy for farmhouses full of years of accumulation. We cover the rural east side as a stretch — Ogden and Sidney ride the same routes.
