“Ross and andrew did an amazing job! Efficient!!!!”
I’m Wes Kuhlman, owner of Nu Day Moving, and Rantoul is a town with a distinct footprint thanks to the old Chanute Air Force Base. A lot of the housing up here traces back to base days — the former officer and enlisted neighborhoods, the redeveloped blocks, and the affordable stock that keeps drawing families and commuters. Sitting on I-57 and US-45 north of Champaign, Rantoul is an easy, direct run for my crew.
Because Rantoul mixes older base-era homes with newer rentals and starter houses, we see everything from tight apartment turnovers to full-family loads. The rate holds steady across all of it, and the interstate access keeps our drive — and your quote — short.
| Move type | Crew | Rate |
|---|---|---|
| Apartment / smaller home | 2 movers + truck | $135/hr |
| Full family home | 3 movers + truck | $185/hr |
It’s our own W-2, background-checked crew and our own trucks on every Rantoul job — the same faces at pickup are the ones who unload, start to finish.
