“Great work and they moved my mothers furniture with no problems.”
I’m Wes Kuhlman, and Sidney is one of those small rural villages east of Urbana that a lot of moving companies quietly skip. Not us. It’s a tight-knit farm community, and whether you’re moving into a modest village home or a place set back on acreage down a county road, my crew shows up ready for what East Central Illinois back roads actually look like.
Sidney jobs are usually straightforward houses, but the drives and the weather aren’t always. A gravel approach after a wet spell, or an icy county road in January, gets planned for — we carry traction gear all winter and we don’t gamble on access.
Small town, same standard — one flat number in writing before we load, our own crew and truck the whole way, and no premium tacked on just because Sidney sits off the beaten path.
- Village homes and rural properties down Champaign County back roads
- Gravel-drive and set-back approaches staged and shuttled when needed
- Winter-ready trucks with ice-melt and traction mats December through February
Sidney moves run through our local moving crew. It sits on the same east-side loop as St. Joseph and Ogden, so we cover the whole rural stretch in one run — the full map is on our service areas page.
